My name is Jeff Vandrew Jr, and I’m licensed as both an Attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. I restrict my boutique practice to three areas: estate planning, small business representation, and tax return preparation for individuals and small businesses.
I’m board-certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist (by the ABA-accredited Estate Law Specialist Board). I believe choosing a Board-Certified Estate Planning Law Specialist is important, as it requires rigorous testing and continuing education requirements to demonstrate excellence in the field.
Being licensed as both and Attorney and CPA, and also holding the Certified Financial Planner credential, I believe I’m uniquely qualified to advise on not only the legal aspects of key decisions, but also the tax and financial aspects.
I’ve taught continuing education courses for attorneys around the country, and have recently had the following articles published:
- “Past the Cliff: The Future of State Estate Tax Planning,” New Jersey Law Journal, Volume 211, No. 8, February 25, 2013
- “Not Business as Usual: A Major Shift in NJ LLC Law,” New Jersey Law Journal, Volume 209, No. 6, August 6, 2012
- “No Edge for NJ Businesses in New LLC Law,” New Jersey Law Journal, Volume 209, No. 10, September 3, 2012
Unlike many lawyers, I understand that most people’s objective is not to win their day in court, but to stay out of conflicts altogether. That’s why despite being an attorney, you’ll never catch me in a courtroom. Instead, I run a boutique law firm where I engage my clients in a collaborative effort to ensure their goals are met in the least burdensome way possible. Sometimes we even try to have a little fun in the process.
I earned my BA With Honors from Rutgers University and my Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School. I’ve lived at the Jersey Shore for my entire life. My family ties extend to Atlantic, Cape May, and Ocean Counties.
I’m pretty easygoing and easy to reach, so if you have any questions you can always feel free to call me at 609-677-0010.
