If you’ve arrived at this page, you’re probably looking for some qualifications and background on me.
I’m licensed as an Attorney, a Certified Public Accountant, and also a CFP. I’m also board-certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist by the ABA-accredited Estate Law Specialist Board.
I’ve taught continuing education courses to attorneys around the country, and have recently had the following articles published:
- “Powers of Attorney: Step by Step,” Step by Step Guide to Drafting Wills & Trusts, National Business Institute, June 2014
- “Past the Cliff: The Future of State Estate Tax Planning,” New Jersey Law Journal, Volume 211, No. 8, February 25, 2013
- “Not Business as Usual: A Major Shift in NJ LLC Law,” New Jersey Law Journal, Volume 209, No. 6, August 6, 2012
- “No Edge for NJ Businesses in New LLC Law,” New Jersey Law Journal, Volume 209, No. 10, September 3, 2012
I earned my BA With Honors from Rutgers University and my Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.
I restrict my boutique practice to three areas: estate planning, small business representation, and tax return preparation for individuals and small businesses. This narrow focus is very intentional. As complex as most legal and tax issues are today, most clients benefit from a professional with deep knowledge in a very specific area.
Formal qualifications aside, I believe I’m a lot different from other lawyers and CPAs. My focus is multi-disciplinary, ranging from my credentials in the law, taxation, and finance, to my studies in the areas of personal productivity, efficiency and technology. When I put this all together, it means I see the big picture for my clients.
I’ve lived at the Jersey Shore for my entire life. I’m pretty easygoing and easy to reach, so if you have any questions you can always feel free to call.
